The Marketing Mission

Angle IT came to me with a requirement for a new website and refreshed logo design. Currently a large volume of their work was achieved through traditional printed directories and they were keen to enhance their online presence and brand image.

Website Design & Build

The website design was structured around a traditional navigation interface to maximise visitor usability. The header features the logo, menu items and contact details shortly followed by a slider banner and an introduction to the company and the services available. Organised into a grid format it would be easy for visitors to click on specific services and gather more information. The purpose of the website was to inform and generate enquiries and it was considered this user-friendly design would maximise visitor interaction.

Logo Overhaul

From existing graphics there was already a running theme which featured the strap line “The Right Angle for IT” and a logo that incorporated two lines that looked like a right angle.

The concept was a good one, but it lacked the vibrancy to really stand out. As a consequence a vibrant green was adopted, and the companies initials “AIT” were incorporated into the right angle square.

The lines that previously met, were adjusted to overlap and make the “right angle” concept more identifiable. The font face was also modernised to provide a modern feel.

Colour Scheme

The vibrant green, deep grey and white combination was identified as an evolution of the colour scheme used in the companies previous branding. Modern and technology based heading fonts were also adopted to further emphasise Angle IT as an IT company.

Business Cards and Flyers

After the websites completion, additional design work was completed for promotional flyers and business cards. To maintain the consistency of the brand colour schemes and font types were carefully incorporated into each of these designs. The contingency of designs would help to give new clients who have received a flyer or business card, confidence when they visit the company website at a later time.
